I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years in the mental health field. I graduated from Muhlenberg College with a BA in Psychology and received my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the Wurzweiler School at Yeshiva University. I began my career by working as a residential counselor for women who struggle with mental illness. I realized that when you treat people with kindness and compassion, a connection can occur. I went on to work as a vocational counselor for dually diagnosed individuals to support a positive work environment between employee and employer.
In 2017, I decided to move forward and expand my practice. I understood that practicing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with responsiveness and a deeper collaboration amongst colleagues and other service providers was the missing piece. I sought out smart, warm, seasoned clinicians who believe in this collaborative approach, and Westport Perspective was created.
Westport Medical and Wellness Center is thrilled to be partnering with Westport Perspective to achieve the same goal, to provide holistic healthcare to the people of Westport and all those who need it wherever they may be.
